Position: UID Architect
Total experience: 8+ yrs
Mandatory skills:
8-12 years of experience Java, Swing, J2SE & JEE related technologies, tools, frameworks and standards
Experience in architecting scalable, distributed services and applications that integrate across
Different technologies
Experience in architecting thick client applications using Swing or other similar technologies
Has experience in Design/develop of critical framework components/reusable modules; Is well versed with UML and design patterns. Is highly hands-on when it comes to
implementing complex designs and while trouble-shooting.
Has good experience in working with agile development methodologies/ Rational unified process
Ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, thoughts, and opinions during requirements and design sessions with customers and teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills – ability to communicate architecture to varied stakeholders
Experience in pre sales, large application estimations
Ability to think out of the box and not create stereo-typed solutions. Architect solutions as per need.
Desired skills:
Experience in application performance tuning
Experience in database architecture
Experience in hardware and storage sizing
