The Stowe Group provides engineering & construction management services for deploying telecom networks. Our services cover the entire scope of the project; from understanding the customer communication requirements to designing, installing, commissioning, optimizing and maintaining the network and equipment.
We are expanding and are currently seeking candidates for our Waltham, MA office. All positions require direct experience in the cell tower or related industry.
This position involves performing all aspects of cell tower construction, maintenance, repair and upgrades. Includes extensive climbing, pulling cables, installation of antennae, manual labor connecting cables, metal, electrical, etc.
The Tower Foreman will be responsible for directing a three to four man tower crew in the installation of coax and antenna systems on roof-top builds and collocations. Their daily responsibilities will include – running safety/tailgate meetings, generating reports (project progression, time cards, budget, etc) and checking the quality of installation.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in cell tower construction or maintenance
• 2+ years of experience as a Foreman
• Anritsu Certified
• Mechanical ability and physical dexterity and strong stamina is necessary as you will be required to climb towers up to 1500\', set up rigging, climb while also carrying materials, tools and equipment.
• Experience using hand tools, excavating is desired.
• High School diploma or technical school.
• OSHA safety courses or tower certifications would be a plus

• Comtrain certified, Comscope certified
• Coaxial installation, Antennae installation, Connector installation, Grounds and buss bar installation, Boom gate installation, Rigging experience, Tower rescue certified, Cpr/first aid certified, Equipment operator
