Berean Group is seeking Telecom Analyst/Developer with Java experience

Scope of work:
This position will be responsible for maintaining the Metasolv M6 implementation within the client. The qualified candidate will need to work closely with the client?s Engineering and Carrier departments to implement new functionality and maintain the existing customer base. Experience necessary with the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, technical specs, code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.
Required skills/competencies
• Knowledge of wireline and wireless network architecture, network management protocols
• Experience in a telco, system integrator, service organization or telecom product supplier
• 5+ years experience working with MetaSolv M6 Application Workflow
• Software development with Java/J2EE experience and MetaSolv M6 product experience
• Experience with Integration platforms like Web methods / BEA Web logic Version 8.1 SP5 / IBM Websphere / TIBCO / Mule
• Practical experience with leading Commercial API design and development with large scale service architecture in a distributed deployment environment
• Expert knowledge of various service technologies such as XML, CORBA, HTTP, SOAP, REST, Web Services, SOA
• Strong knowledge of Unix, XML/HTTP protocols, publish/subscribe technologies, or n-tier web-based distributed systems and localization issues, and their use in a massively scalable environment
• Experience installing service packs or patches on Unix machines running BEA Web logic and/or Oracle databases
• Bachelors degree in computer science.
