• Installation, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of Base Transceiver Stations and Microwave antennas. (Nokia, Motorola, Alcatel Lucent, Huawei)
• Indoor BTS cabling, RF cabling, Power and Battery connections, Jumper and Grounding connections, prepare connectors
• Supervise/ Guide team for Antenna height, azimuths, electrical and mechanical tilts both GSM and DCS
• Layout all BTS related hardware required for new cell site and network expansion projects.
• Perform Preliminary/Final Acceptance Test ( AT) .BER Testing, DTF, VSWR, Return Loss, and Cable Loss checks, Power measurements, etc.
• Upgrade, expansion and swapping of BTS sites.
• Assist Huawei personnel and contractor during BTS Change-Over, Installation and Cut-Over Activity. From delivery of BTS equipment, bolt-down, transmission testing, BTS download, test call and BTS online procedures
• Perform GSM Site inspection, equipment check and preventive maintenance of BTS and MW elements.
• Conduct Line-of-Site survey for transmission connectivity and path profile( map study) for all candidate sites
• Determine/Propose antenna locations, height, azimuths, electrical and mechanical tilts
• Acquire/Determine latitude and longitude coordinates using GPS
• Take Panoramic views and identify near end obstructions during LOS
• Near end (NE) to Far end (FE) marked photos and datas
• Line-of-Sight (LOS) verification for microwave link connectivity.
• Identify and mark locations of tower, shelter, equipment layout in shelter and antenna, and propose tower and antenna locations
• Estimate of maximum cable lengths
• Identify most suitable BTS site locations as per the search ring specifications
