• Do BSC Optimization (Coverage and KPI), Monitor and analyze Traffic Statistics KPIs and traffic statistics data.
• Consistency checking, Tuning Radio parameter, regular checking configuration, Alarm and troubleshoot.
• Analysis daily and weekly TOPN problematic cells in the network. Put recommendation to solve the TOPN cells problems.
• Work on improvement of major KPI performance and network quality.
• Optimize overshoot cell problem.
• RNO tools (MRR, NCS, and FAS etc).
• Initial tuning for new on air sites. Analyze the results of drive tests to check the coverage and services, and make relevant adjustment to have the coverage and services reach targets. Preparing Acceptance Report.
• Provide support to the other department regarding RF issue.
• Prepare weekly KPI report.
• Drive Test Log file analyze and recording to locate network problem and solve it
• Creating BO (Business Object) report and analyze
• Teaching and training new staff
• Create and supervise frequency Plan for Musil city
• Create and supervise neighbor plan for Musil, Kirkuk and Salahaldin.

Technical Skills

• Network Optimisation & Performance
o Detailed Analysis and Optimization of existing & planned 2G sites for Drive Test Analysis & KPIs.
o Live 2G site performance verification activity using Actix and TEMS Post processing tool to validate the coverage as the designed, rigging errors & performance issues.
o Investigate problematic site in correlations between drive test data, statistics, counters, alarms and take corrective actions.
o 2G Optimisation; Frequency re-tuning, 2G drive data analysis, Co Channel & Adj Channel Interference Identification, Neighbour analysis.
o Reporting the performance and progress of optimised areas.
o Working together with the Optimisation team for the initial Neighbour list, Frequency plan and the network databases
o Analysing Drive Test data to evaluate RF related issues in Setup failures, Call Drops, Handover Failures, suggesting missing Neighbour Antenna Changes, down tilt, Reorientation, Neighbour modifications etc.
o Creating reports & templates while post processing Log files.
o Collecting and analysing Network KPI’s for GSM.
o Recommending changes to the Network Parameters to improve Network Performance.
o Comparing Network Performance before and after Optimisation activities.
o Optimize network features Installation and maintenance sites and GSM (900 & 1800) bands-Ericsson equipments.
o Installation and maintenance link budget-Ericsson equipments.
o Drive test, analyze and prepare reports for all types of drive tests (routine, bench mark, issue based, scanning, re-homing, re-parenting and GPRS), by using TEMS investigation versions (6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0, 11.0).
o Analysis of drive test data to determine network issues like poor coverage areas,
o Interference, call drops, handover problems and missing neighbor definitions.
o Optimization of the network by changing cell parameters, orientation and tilting of
o GSM antennas for optimum coverage.
o Analysis of cells having SDCCH congestion, high handover failure ratio, high TCH drop call rate.
o Handover analysis based on handover reports.
o Neighbor addition and deletion by using NCS reports and HOSR reports.
o Providing appropriate tilts (electrical and mechanical) to reduce the interference or improve coverage penetration.
o Interference detection and rectification by proper frequency retuning and Optimization.
o Optimization of sites for proper traffic balancing between the cells by monitoring and analysis of STS.
o Planning of new sites using KPI reports and drive test data.
o Drive test of New Sites including audit and verification of hardware, antenna type, Antenna height, orientation according to the planning database.
o Rx level and quality optimization to ensure customers satisfaction.
o Solving customer complaints related to call drop, coverage and data.
o Prepare pre & post drive reports, problem cause and recommended solutions.
o RF site survey to find the best suitable candidate site on the basis of data given.
o Consistency check.
o KPI analysis (Worst cells, CDR, CSSR, HSSR, Blocking and Traffics).
o Working on Day-To-Day activities for optimization of the problematic cells.
